2000 Ferrari 360 Modena "Prancing Horse"

Grigio Alloy; an exquisite colour rarely seen on many modern day Stallions

Truly, the 360 Modena remains one of Ferrari's most iconic vehicles ever produced. In fact, the F430 and 458 Italia are actually modelled on the magnificent 360 Modena. Needless to say, the 360 Modena is a fantastic modern day supercar; a spectacular example of a machine able to withstand the pressure of everyday usage.

Undeterred by the tiny 3.6 litre V-8 Ferrari has placed inside, the 360 Modena can put out an astonishing 400 brake horsepower at 8500 rpm, along with a vicious 374 N-m of torque at 4750 rpm, and sprinting to 100km/h in mere 4.2 seconds. Above all, the car is designed to reach a monstrous top speed of 304km/h.

Pininfarina takes all credit for the impressive styling of the 360 Modena. In addition to the low nose, convex fenders and a fastback rear roof, the front embodies two large air intakes for the radiators - an aspect crucial for the car's aerodynamics as it provides ground effect by channeling air to the rear diffusers. Moreover, the large glass panel at the rear even allows for a remarkable full-view admiration of the engine.

Upon entering the 360 Modena, one is immediately greeted with an impeccable balance of sportiness, space and ergonomics. Located in the centre console are the main controls - conveniently positioned in the driver's line of sight. As pictured above, the 360 Modena uses an F1 Transmission, permitting the driver to swiftly switch gears with the "flappy paddles" (located behind the steering wheel). To boot, the two-toned dashboard and car seats are adorned in classic red Connolly leather and are composed of a number of aluminium parts.

Produced during the period of 1999 to 2004, the 360 Modena is often praised for its incredible technology at such an age. Certainly, the affair of observing Ferrari evolve the 360 Modena into exceptional, advanced versions is definitely one to watch.
